Charges:

Tuition and costume charges depend on what you take!


Tuition is based on the length of the class. Costumes charges are based off how many costumes are included. For example, combo classes have 2 costumes. Other subjects like ballet, hip hop, lyrical, etc. have only 1 costume. Acro classes have no costume charges at all!

An hour class is $55 a month. A 45 minute class, such as hip hip, is $50 a month. Each costume is $10 a month. So for example, a 1 hour combo class with two costumes would be $75 a month! Adding on an hour of ballet? This would only be an extra $55 a month with our discounts!


Discounts:

A breakdown of tuition and costumes, as well as examples of discounts are included below. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions!

At Miss Kelley’s, you only pay full price once! After your first class, you receive $10 off your second class, and $15 off any additional classes after that.

Enrolling sisters? Your second child is also $10 off immediately for her first class! However, multiple class discounts are applied individually per student, not per family. Child B must also take 3 classes in order to receive $15 off of that class. For example, if Child A takes 2 classes, and Child B takes 1, there will only be $10 discounts and no $15 discount because no one child is taking 3 classes.

Have a third daughter? Her tuition is completely FREE! (Discounts do not apply to costumes, extra fees, competition teams, or private lessons).


Other Fees:

The fees mentioned here are the only charges other than costumes and tuition. Optional expenses include photographer's pictures, program book ads, t-shirsts, etc.

  • There is a $50 non-refundable registration fee per family (not per student). This will draft August 15th. If you enroll after this date, it will be added to September’s draft.

  • The recital fee is $95 per family (not per student) and will be drafted in March. This fee is in lieu of recital tickets. Admission is completely FREE! You may bring as many people as you wish! It also includes one free program book as well as free digital downloads of recital videos!

  • Most classes will have an accessory fee ranging from $3.00 to $25.00. This fee is drafted in March to those who have an accessory such as a cane, hat, gloves, etc. (Any accessories fees will be announced well in advance, in October, on your “costume picture sheet”).


How and when do I pay?

  • Automatic Draft: We do require your bank information/draft numbers in order to register you. However, if you prefer not to be drafted- no worries! Just bring in a cash or check payment before the draft runs.

  • When does the draft run? The draft runs between the 1st and 5th of every month - with the exception of the beginning of the year. As mentioned above, the $50 registration fee on August 15th. If you register after this date, it will be added to the following draft. September will also run on the 15th of the month. During the month of September, we like to allow plenty of time for everyone to settle into the correct classes. We will always include in our monthly newsletter email the exact date that the draft will run. You will never be surprised! We hope you find this helpful!

  • What about over the summer? During the summer session, the draft will only run once and cover the entire summer session. Once again, to allow time for everyone to settle into the correct classes, it will run after the 2nd week of classes. For more questions on summer pricing and discounts, click our summer tab!

  • We are sorry, but drafts occur as a whole and individual arrangements or draft dates may NOT be requested. Late fees, as well as return fees, are applied automatically.

Return fees: A $30 return fee will be automatically applied to your account following any returned drafts. If you incur a returned draft, be sure to bring in your balance in person in order to avoid a subsequent late fee.

Late fees: If your payment is not received by our required date there will be a $30.00 late fee for every month that it is outstanding. Our late fees are automated so this does apply to everyone. 

Delinquent Accounts: Repeated returns will require cash payments for the remainder of the year.

End of year balance: The year must be paid in full by May 1st in order to participate in recital.


What if I miss a lesson?

Our yearly tuition is prorated over nine months. Monthly payments are the same regardless of attendance.

If you miss due to vacations, sickness, holidays or weather closings, we encourage the student to attend a makeup lesson. You are more than welcome to attend any class your age for a makeup lesson. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the same subject. Try something new for fun - as long as it is the right age.

Don’t forget - you can also have your dancer participate virtually any time over live stream!


Withdrawal Policy

Please remember that the deadline for withdrawal without being financially responsible for the costume(s) ordered for your child is October 15th. If you do withdraw after costumes have been ordered, we are sorry, but we cannot hold these costumes indefinitely - you have until April 3rd to pick up your costumes. Thank you!
